About Me
A supportive, structured approach to learning piano.
I teach private piano lessons for beginner to intermediate students, with each lesson shaped around the student’s age, ability, goals and learning style.
My aim is to help students build strong technique, understand what they are playing, develop confidence and enjoy the process of learning music.
Lessons combine practical piano training, repertoire, theory, rhythm, reading, musical expression and progress checks. Students may also work toward graded examinations when appropriate and when they are ready.

Term Structure
Consistency builds progress.
Lessons run weekly during school terms, which are typically 10 weeks. A reserved lesson time is held each week to support continuity and steady progress.

Examination Options
Graded pathways are available when the student is ready.
AGMS or other graded assessments may be offered upon request and by mutual agreement between parent, student and teacher. Students are only entered when they are ready.
Examination fees are separate from lesson fees and vary by grade. Additional exam books or preparation materials may also be required.
The Studio
A dedicated private piano studio in Sanctuary Cove.
Lessons take place in a calm, purpose-designed teaching space with a clean, welcoming feel and a focused learning environment.
The studio features both a beautiful white grand piano and a black upright piano, with teaching resources displayed in the room to support reading, theory, technique and confident progress.
Located in the Sanctuary Cove area, the studio is designed to feel polished, comfortable and inspiring for students of all ages.

Things to know before enrolling.
How much practice is expected?
Regular home practice is expected between lessons. A good goal is around 30 minutes a day, at least 5 days per week.
What happens if I need to cancel?
A minimum of 24 hours notice is required to cancel or reschedule. Lessons cancelled with less than 24 hours notice are forfeited.
Are make-up lessons available?
One make-up lesson per term may be available when adequate notice is provided.
What happens if Lily needs to cancel?
Where possible, lessons cancelled by the teacher due to unforeseen circumstances will be rescheduled or credited.
How do I stop lessons?
Please provide notice before the start of a new term. Refunds are not issued for lessons already scheduled or missed without appropriate notice.
When are exam entries offered?
Exam entry is optional and only considered when parent, student and teacher agree and the student is ready.
